MANAGEMENT

	Jared Lundquist President 18 years in Printing Industry
Jared started working when 8 years old in a local orchard—folding and stapling corrugated fruit boxes, pressing apple cider, stacking pruned tree limbs, sorting fruit and moving irrigation pipe. After learning the various jobs Jared asked to be paid piece rate after seeing he outperformed adults working on the same duties. Jared’s next endeavor was doing lawn maintenance as a teenager. He soon realized the greater potential in maintaining business’ grounds than in doing residential lawn maintenance and started building relationships with local businesses. After making a successful small business Jared decided it was time to get a ‘real job’ and started working in the restaurant industry. Jared worked in management in various restaurants from fast food to high-end resort establishments. After several years in the food business Jared saw an opportunity in a local print shop, which offered him a customer service position. Being new to the print world, Jared spent the first six months learning as much as he could. Although he was hired for customer service, he learned to operate almost every piece of equipment within the print shop – offset presses, digital presses and bindery equipment. After six months of learning Jared went to the owner of the print shop and requested that he be given permission to build relationships with 13 ‘house’ accounts that Jared saw had greater sales potential if they were taken better care of. Jared retained his customer service duties, but when time allowed, he worked on building relationships with these 13 accounts. Soon more time was required to manage the growth of these accounts, so Jared transitioned from Customer Service into full time Outside Sales. Jared continued nurturing relationships with his customers and was the top performing salesman for the organization for the entire 11 years of his employment. During his tenure with the company their sales and the size of the company grew by over 10 times. In 2002 Jared decided to leave the printing industry and work on other interests. He owned online retail businesses in ink and toner, and helped found other companies in the customized day planner, nutriceutical and executive protection industries. Also in 2002 Jared started Hedgehog, LLC after being contacted by previous customers who were frustrated in their attempts to get their print projects completed. Jared worked from his home doing project management for his clients. His expertise in understanding clients’ needs and how to manage their projects to completion proved invaluable. For the next 18 months Jared partnered with multiple vendors on these projects. As his business grew, he saw that in order to keep his commitments to his clients, he needed to be able to control more of the production process. Jared began acquiring equipment and soon moved into his first location in Orem, Utah. This location was a 1500 square foot unit in an industrial complex (and very empty at first!). He then hired his first employee to help him with production. Over the next three years Jared leased other spaces in the complex as tenants moved out of their units, and then expanded his space. He did this three times until Hedgehog was using 4500 square feet. As the business continued to grow, Hedgehog started looking for a new facility. In 2006 it moved to its current location with 10,000 square feet. In 2008 a neighboring unit became available and Hedgehog once again expanded and gained another 2500 square feet. Since 2002 Hedgehog has experienced growth every year, most years over 100%. As the president of the company, Jared continues to strive to provide excellent service and meet all commitments made to clients and other team members. The attention to detail, the passion for the printing and digital solutions business, and the experience of the entire Hedgehog team account for the business’ success over the years. In his personal time Jared enjoys outdoor activities with his family, such as boating, camping, riding ATV’s and most things related to summer! He enjoys spending time in the community and serving in his church. Jared is married and has four children.
	Valerie Jeffries Office Manager 4 Years
With over 25 years of customer service experience, Valerie has discovered what makes clients happy and ensures their loyalty—listen to them, laugh with them, and exceed their expectations. Valerie’s philosophy is "The buck stops here!" She is responsible for assisting everyone at Hedgehog with their individual assignments and tries to keep the office running smoothly. Family means the most to Valerie, especially having a wonderful new grandson! When there’s time, she also loves reading and walking along the world’s beaches! 	Aaron Price Production Manager 7 Years
Aaron started working in the printing industry at the age of 19 for a large digital printing company. He started in the Bindery department doing handwork and assembly. From there he worked his way up to managing the Production Print department. At Hedgehog, Aaron oversees all facets of production, from printing to product assembly and shipping. He is also responsible for department scheduling and ensuring his team meets all project deadlines. 	Bryce Critser Bindery Operator 9 Years
Bryce worked in the printing industry for almost 10 years for a large offset printing company, starting out as the folding equipment operator and working his way up to Production Manager. With his background and experience, Bryce is an asset to our team. At Hedgehog he operates our binding, folding, cutting and UV coating machines, and assists in the shipping and delivery department to help keep customer orders on schedule. 	Martha Da Silva Production and Assembly 8 Years
Martha worked for a large digital printing company for several years and gained knowledge and experience in the production aspect of digital printing. Her current responsibilities include plastic and wire coiling, tabbing and other assembly processes. She has a valuable working knowledge of many assembly machines and techniques. Martha enjoys doing small projects around the house in her spare time. She is also part of the Mexican Regional Folk Dance group with her daughter and loves it! 	Laura Dye Accounting Manager 4 Years
Laura attended BYU for three years, first as a student of Biology and then in the Business Department. She transferred to the University of Utah where she obtained her BS in Biology. Laura oversees all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties. She is the one to speak to when it comes to money! When Laura’s "traditional" work is done, she can often be found in the karate studio where she is both a teacher and a student. She currently holds the rank of 2nd degree black belt. 	Annie Epperley Web-to-Print Project Manager 2 Years
Annie manages our web-to-print online ordering systems for our company as well as our clients. Her responsibilities include client-company communication, organization of the entire website set-up, orders and maintenance processes, as well as any support needed by our fabulous design team. Annie loves vacations, movies and spending time with her friends, family and puppy dog. She is a big fan of Batman and her hometown Pittsburgh Steelers. 	Casey Frampton Print Production 2 Years
Casey’s primary responsibility in the Production department is operating our various printing machines. He plays an integral part in our quality control by assuring the accuracy and high quality of all projects and meeting project deadlines. He also assists where needed with other production and fulfillment needs within the department. Casey likes to play football and basketball, and also enjoys taking photographs and writing poetry in his spare time. Favorite Quote: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal. 	Judith Lorenzo Production and Assembly 10 Years

She has the knowledge and experience to operate our wide range of finishing and assembly equipment. She is skilled in lamination, all types of drilling, punching, coil and wire-o binding and tabbing. Judith is a member of the Mexican Regional Folk Dance group and enjoys performing in their programs with her daughter. 	Kelli Nilson Creative Services—Graphic Design/Prepress 9 Years
Kelli earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2005 from American Intercontinental University Online and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has worked as a graphic designer for over 9 years, and is happy to be part of the Hedgehog family. Kelli’s responsibilities include the design and management/maintenance of the Hedgehog website and all web-to-print websites, as well as assisting where needed with any prepress needs, such as graphic design, preparing files for printing, etc. Kelli enjoys learning new things and often spends time at home on the computer going through tutorial after tutorial for Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe products, as well as expanding her knowledge of web design. She also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, doing handiwork and traveling with her husband to fabulous places like Disneyland and Hawaii. Favorite Quote: "Success is not the key to happiness. 	Tad Olsen Sales Representative 2 Years
As a Sales Rep, Tad’s main goal and focus is to share with companies how Hedgehog can help them improve their own business by utilizing our services for printing and other business needs. 	Micah Page Customer Service Representative 15 Years
Micah has over 14 years experience in the commercial offset printing industry. He learned the trade as a Stacker and moved up the ranks to Press Assistant and then Press Supervisor. If you have read Forbes, Woman’s Day, Country Living or Car and Driver magazines in the last 10 years, you have seen some of his work. Micah has always felt that he was in Customer Service, even though he worked in production. His attitude was "the next person to see my work will be the customer." He is now in direct communication with the customer answering questions, working with them on project details and assisting new clients. Micah enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, and being involved in outdoor activities, such as swimming, barbecuing and just about any sport. Reading is his personal favorite pastime. Dan Brown, Clive Cussler and Tom Clancey are his favorite authors, but he also likes the Harry Potter and The Lord of The Rings series, as well as David Eddings’ The Belgariad, The Mallorean, and The Tumuli series. 	Kenny Lee Customer Service Representative 1 Year
Kenny has spent the last 6 years working with people. From teaching, working in customer service, to now working directly with clients as a sales representative, Kenny has always enjoyed being the solution to the problem. Born and raised in Utah, Kenny has grown to love the outdoors and any activity that is associated with it. Cycling, camping, winter sports are a few of many. Working on getting his business degree at Utah Valley University, Kenny looks forward to a long career helping people and building new relationships.
